PUPIL'S BLOG

P3 and 4 are studying space. Here are two excellent space poems.

The sun is?

The sun is a fiery meat ball.

The sun is a golden coin dropped from space.

The sun is a big yellow beach ball.

The sun is a bright orange balloon.

The Nursery have started work on a John Muir Award. This involves discovering, exploring, conserving and sharing a special place, and learning a little about John Muir.

We found a special place in the woods across the road from school and have used fallen branches to mark our magic hollow.

We have learned a little about John Muir. He was born in Scotland and then moved to America. Jessie knows that "he looked after things", and Ben said he looked after "all the animals in the world."

Primary 1 and 2 have been doing movement and fitness sessions with coaches from Inverbness Caledonian Thistle. Mrs. Convery said the class were really enjoyingb the sessions and that Dylan and Sophie were doing particularly well.

" We habve to do lots of obstacle courses. We run in and out of poles and jump over nets. It's great fun. At the end of the games we do relaxing, lying down on our backs."

said Dylan Coker P1

"I liked doing the balancing games. Holding a hoop and standing on one leg was fun. The coaches are funny."

IF THE EARTH

If the Earth was a £100 to visit,

people would travel day and night to see it.

People would give up gadgets, mobiles and TV.

People would protest because it was not looked after

and demand that Earth should be cared for better.

If the Earth was £100 to visit.
