Minutes from Meeting
- MPCs agreed to hold a ring and Buy Sale on Thursday 11 March. Proceeds from the sale will be split between the Haiti Earthquake Disaster Fund and transport for Primary 6 and 7 skiing. There will be stalls selling homebaking, books, DVDs, CDs, games, toys and bric-a-brac.
- MPCs asked for a school talent show. Mr. Edge agreed to speak to teachers about holding one in May or June.
- Suggestions for a special prize for the house with the most points by the end of the session were discussed: an extra special golden time or a different type of gym session was popular. No decision was made and will be discussed again.
- There were no suggestions in the Suggestion Box. MPCs were asked to remind their classmates about the box.

Matters Arising from Previous Meeting:
- The Bring and Buy Sale in February will be in aid of transport for the P6/7 skiing sessions.
- MPCs are considering a prize for the best House at the end of session. Suggestions made so far have been a trip, gift vouchers and sweets.
Minutes from Meeting:
- MPCs pointed out that some pupils were playing football on the tarmac and in the shelter. Everyone agreed that this was dangerous and that teachers should be asked to remind pupils to only play football on the pitch.
- A request was made for some parts of the school to be redecorated e.g. changing rooms and stage. Mr. Edge pointed out that the school does not have the money at present for that to be done.
- MPCs agreed that playtime games and equipment would be looked at next term with a view to buying more.

6th October 2009
Minutes of meeting:
- MPCs discussed problems some pupils have with playing games at playtime, especially 4 square. MPCs to remind school of importance of rules at next assembly.
- MPCs agreed to support the following charities this year; Red Nose Day and Mary’s Meals Rucksack appeal.
- MPCs asked for a PA system to be installed so that the office could make announcements. Mr. Edge said it would not be possible as it would be expensive.
- There was a request to hold a Bring and Buy Sale. It was agreed that this could be held to support P6/7 skiing.
- Kit wanted the MPCs to remind the children about not playing silly games that might end up with someone getting hurt. This will be done at be done at the next house points assembly.
- Becky asked for the changing rooms to be painted. Mr. Edge said this had been requested before but there is still no money available.
- Kit asked for the best behaved pupils to get a special treat. MPCs agreed that the best house at the end of the school year should get a special prize or reward. This idea to be further discussed at the next meeting.
- Suggestion Box:
- Can P6/7 have a disco instead of a party at a Christmas? Mr. Edge will speak to teachers about it.
- Can the buddy bench be painted? Mr. Edge will ask the janitor.

3rd September 2009
minutes of meeting:
1. Mr Edge welcomed the new MPCs to their first meeting.
2. MPCs were reminded of their role as class representatives at the Pupil Council. MPCs were asked to speak to their classmates, asking for ideas and suggestions to be passed on to them or placed in the suggestion box.
3. The MPCs looked at the playtime games and equipment that had been ordered by last session’s MPCs. It was agreed that boxes of equipment should be changed every two weeks. MPCs are to make sure that equipment is brought in at the end of playtimes.
